Warped Clean Up Day

Posted Jul 29, 2010 3:10 PM by tiffanymink
Over 150 Vans Warped Tour crew members worked together this past week to clean up debris from Nashville, Tennessee's historic floods.  In just three hours they filled six dumpsters which amounts to 180 total cubic yards of trash and debris.  That's over 108 car loads!    Thanks for helping Music City and keeping our fish, wildlife, and water safe. Check out the video below from guest blogger Steve!

The Concrete Wave Passport Program

Posted Jul 12, 2010 6:20 PM by pk2112
Concrete Wave Magazine teamed up with the Vans Warped Tour this year to present the Passport Program. At the beginning of each show, our tour manager Devin Hornbeek hands out 350 passports. Once you have received your passport, visit at least 7 not for profits and get it stamped. Then return to the Concrete Wave booth later on in the day to claim your share of over $100,000 worth of prizes. We are giving away exclusive Nooka Watches, Passport patches, t-shirts, skateboards and a grand prize of a trip to London and Paris courtesy Contiki Vacations. Even if you don't get your hands on a passport, you can still enter the Contiki prize by emailing passportcontest@gmail.com

Check out this great video spot after the jump and see just how easy, and fun, it is to grab your stamps

Since its inception, the Vans Warped Tour has supported many different charitable causes. One of those being Camp Hollywood HEART - a camp that brings hope, education, art, recreation and teamwork to children who wouldn't otherwise have opportunities for summer camp, movie making or life skills enhancement. This summer, Camp Hollywood HEART is up for a Pepsi Refresh Project grant and they need your help! Along with the Vans Warped Tour, you too can make a difference by voting at the link below.

Warped Tour Makes A Huge Effort To Not Be An Environmental Disaster

Posted Jun 9, 2010 1:35 PM by pk2112
Last year we recycled over 36,000 lbs of bottles, cans and cardboard with the help of volunteers across the country and it's time to sign up for this summer to break that record! Volunteers also get a free t-shirt and free entry into the show for helping. If you are down to get a little dirty, consider volunteering for Warped Eco on the date Warped Tour comes through your city. You'll be picking through trash cans and it will be hot...but it will also be lots of fun!
